Intheyear1942,IranstoodasabeaconoffreedomandhopeforalmostamillionPolishcitizensreleasedfromtheSovietlaborcampsofSiberia.AfterenduringterribleconditionstravellingacrossRussia,115,000ofthemwereeventuallyallowedtoenterIran.MostofthemwentontojointhealliedarmiesintheMiddleEast.Therest(mostlywomenandchildren)remainedguestsofIran,theirlivestotallytransformedintheprocess.Inthisfilm,wewillgobackthroughthepagesofhistoryandtracethelivesofthePolishimmigrantsinIran.
