Lisa Irene Chappell (born 18 October 1968) is a New Zealand actress and musician. She made her acting debut in 1987 when she appeared, and gained recognition, in the television series, Gloss, for three seasons as Chelsea Redfern, while she is best-known for portraying Claire McLeod on the Nine Network drama series McLeod's Daughters (2001–2003). More recently, she was cast in the regular role of Michelle Beaufort on the soap opera, Shortland Street (2020–2022). In addition to her screen roles, she is notable for her theatre work, as one of New Zealand's most prominent stage performers.
