Since 1977, filmmakers Ernst Arendt and Hans Schweiger have been traveling around the world for their series “Animals in Front of the Camera.” Arendt and Schweiger begin their trip to Australia at the most southwestern point of the continent. With their Unimog U1550 they continue driving along the rarely used Eyre Highway through the Nullarbor Desert. The three-part report finally ends in the red sand desert around Alice Springs.
