The new comedy series takes place on the Slovak-Ukrainian border, where several families live in the fictional village of Krivé, who are involved in smuggling everything, except people, weapons and drugs. One Ukrainian family, which owns a grocery store in the nearest Ukrainian village, is also involved in smuggling. The third "main character" is customs officials and members of the border police, who try to detect smugglers and catch them in the act.
