Vom Glück, ein Frankfurter zu sein

Filmmaker Simone Jung shows the journey of a city in the two-part documentary “On the Happiness of Being a Frankfurter”. From the rubble of the Second World War to today's Main and banking metropolis, the Hessian city has experienced rapid changes in the last century. Jung reports on 70 years of city history using archive material from images and sound. It lets people tell stories who helped shape and build Frankfurt. A city in transition, shaped by history.
