Money Makeover

Raharemontti (Money Makeover), based on the Lyxfällan (Luxury Trap) format that has been hugely popular in the Nordic countries, tackles the financial and money troubles of participants who have fallen into economic hardship. The program features working people from different parts of Finland, in various life situations, all struggling with their finances for different reasons. What unites them is the decision to improve their financial situation—whether their difficulties are caused by rising living costs, a changed life situation, or problems brought on by overconsumption. The show is hosted by Jaana Pelkonen, with Joni Rintamaa as the financial expert. Together, they help participants find ways to gain better control over their finances. The program is produced in cooperation with the Säästöpankki Group.
