The true crime series will feature a unique reconstruction of the crimes committed by Jaroslav and Petra Janák in 2017. They planned murders and life insurance fraud at the Levín gaming hall in Nová Paka. They were sentenced to 28 and 30 years for one completed murder, two attempted murders, and two planned murders. However, the case did not end with the capture of the Janáks and the sentencing in 2019. Janáková became pregnant in prison, accused a guard of rape, and had to be released due to a loophole in the law.
