Hila Beyond the Taliban

Four years after the Taliban’s return, Afghan women face severe restrictions: schools, universities, parks, and most workplaces are closed to them. In Hila Beyond the Taliban, journalist Hila Noorzai and her female crew travel through Afghanistan to capture how women resist erasure. Through secret classes, home-based work, and quiet acts of defiance, they show resilience, creativity, and the determination to shape their lives despite oppression.
