After fourteen years away, Carminha returns to the public eye as a transformed woman. Admired for her social work with vulnerable families after the landfill's closure, she becomes a symbol of resilience and redemption, looking to earn forgiveness from those she has wronged, especially her daughter, Ágata, whose fragility opens the way for a reconnection with Tufão's family. Welcomed by part of the clan, Carminha seems determined to repair severed ties. But her return reignites a doubt that can stir up old wounds: how far does the truth of her transformation go?
