Mine Divers – The tough road to the elite of the German Armed Forces

The six-part documentary series follows a training course for mine divers – a specialised unit whose mission is to find and defuse mines. Eleven men undergo training that demands everything: apnoea to the brink of unconsciousness, deep dives, forced marches, weeks at sea and helicopter jumps from a height of ten metres into the Baltic Sea. While the instructors record every mistake, the candidates struggle with cold, exhaustion and self-doubt.
