Sisters in Arms (IL)

A 3-episode documentary series that follows the story of Israeli women who fought, and still fight, for their place on the battlefield: from the first fighters even before the establishment of the state, through the first combat navigator in the Air Force, the first Mista'arevet, Mossad and Shin-Bet fighters, the significant role that women played in the containment battles against the terrorists on October 7 and afterwards, to the female cadets of the current generation just before their recruitment. Through their stories, the mechanisms of exclusion, the invisible brakes, and the constant pendulum between breakthrough and retreat are revealed.
