The love and family stories, adapted for film by journalist and author Christiane Sadlo under her pseudonym "Inga Lindström," are characterized by impressive landscape shots, all filmed on location in Sweden. The 90-minute films focus on powerful emotions and moving fates, though the protagonists always reach a happy ending.
