Paraguay's Unknown Treasures

Paraguay reveals tranquil paradises and fascinating habitats. In the south, Jesuit settlements bear witness to a unique fusion of indigenous and European cultures. The music of the Guarani people lives on today – carried by the Paraguayan harp, a symbol of cultural identity. In the Gran Chaco, researchers, ranchers, and indigenous families fight to preserve biodiversity and water resources. Rare animals such as anteaters, boas, and Burmeister's armadillos characterize this region of contrasts. A country caught between history, nature, and change. (Text: arte)
