Simone and the Predatory State

In the new four-part documentary series Simone and the Predatory State, journalist and NOS presenter Simone Weimans travels to four former Dutch colonies to delve into the often bloody history overseas. Through remarkable encounters, she investigates and hears how that past continues to have an impact in these places today. The program is inspired by the book *Roofstaat: wat elke Nederlander moet weten* by Ewald Vanvugt.
