Parvaaz

Parvaaz follows Rumaisa and Fareesa as marriage takes them into separate households, but exposes both women to painful struggles for acceptance, security and dignity. Rumaisa must navigate a home where her marriage is challenged by family resistance and an overbearing mother-in-law, while Fareesa faces pressure surrounding motherhood and the expectation that she must give her family a son. Through toxic in-laws, marital conflict, family expectations and the consequences of choices made in the name of marriage, Parvaaz explores the realities women can face after entering a new home.
