Chronicles of a village

The daily stories of a fictional town in Castilla, Puebla Nueva del Rey Sancho, began to be broadcast in 1971 and continued on the air until the beginning of 1974. It seems that the one who came up with the idea for this series was and commissioned the project was the vice president of the government, Admiral Carrero Blanco, with the intention of disseminating the Fundamental Laws, for which it became an ambitious project, to make a television series that would be seen on the only television of the time, which was hooked on the public or that he had to see it as the only option that served his propaganda intentions. The characters were the mayor, the priest, the corporal of the civil guard, the teacher, the apothecary, the postman, and many other citizens of that Castilian town.
