The Book Bird

Welcome to The Book Bird guide at TV Tome. John Robbins created The Book Bird based on his Cover To Cover theme. He would introduce a book and some of its characters. Then a narrator would read passages from the book over original illustrations (Robbins's and others'). Almost always, the narration would stop at a "cliffhanger" moment. Robbins then encouraged the pre-teen audience to go to their library, check out the featured book, and read to see what happens next. There is no editor for this show. If you would like to be the editor look here for details.
