In Treatment (QC)

Adapted from the cult Israeli TV series *BeTipul*, whose American version *In Treatment* on HBO achieved both critical and public success, *En thérapie* immerses us in a psychologist’s office to follow the consultations of five patients—one for each day of the week. Each life story is a gripping investigation in which every patient gradually reveals clues to understand their emotional distress. It is up to the viewer to untangle half-truths from real lies. The action takes place in the intimate setting of a therapist’s office, making this fiction a unique television oddity. This very particular cocoon provides the actors with a space in which they excel and make each character endearing. Love, hate, jealousy, bitterness, joy, sadness, anger—the viewer experiences all these emotions and comes away transformed after each session.
