Advent With The Horse-Drawn Carriage
Antje Todt, 37, is divorced, has two children, a partner, two dogs, four horses, five goats and various rabbits. She loves her job and radiates it: “It doesn't make me rich, but it makes me happy!” Especially in December, when there is enough snow and she can harness the sleigh. The chances for this are good again this year, because Antje lives with her family at an altitude of 900 meters, in Oberhof, in the heart of Thuringia. In Advent she drives through the winter forest with a team and bells ringing. However, there is little time left for reflection. Business runs seven days a week, all year round. December is high time. That has to come back in again, which was missing in November. Eight-year-old Paul is always with grandma on weekends, 15-year-old Maximilian with his girlfriend or he helps out.
