Vera Wesskamp

Vera Wesskamp (Maren Kroymann), an energetic woman around forty. After the accidental death of her husband, she is suddenly alone with her three children, a large villa and, last but not least, the management of the family business, a long-established Duisburg shipping company. Give up? Sell the shipping company? Never! Vera rushes forward and rises to the challenge. She has enough courage and confidence to try against all odds. The Wesskamps all live under one roof with 3 generations: The children Hendrik (Stefan Gebelhoff), Annika (Stephanie Philipp), Simone (Jenny Muck), grandma Gertrud (Katharina Brauren) and brother Willem (Michel Brandner) - this circumstance defuses the family situation not necessarily. Stress and success at work, family conflicts, but also love and jealousy are on the agenda at Wesskamps.
