Between 2013 and 2014, a set of social and romantic stories unfolds against the bloody upheaval Syria went through after 2011. The characters include: Abu Mutasim, a corrupt government employee. Haneen, his daughter, who lost her husband and is still waiting for him to come back. Diaa, a fine arts graduate serving in the army, who falls in love with an engineer from Damascus. Humoum, who works with a gang that trades in human organs. Other characters from different walks of life appear alongside them.
