History of contemporary art

The course aims to provide students with a profile of the history of contemporary art in Italy and abroad from the nineteenth century to the twentieth century through the analysis of particularly significant works of painting and sculpture. Artistic events of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, from Neoclassicism to informal art: the personalities, currents, groups and avant-gardes in the Italian and international art scene are illustrated.
