China's borders

For six months, correspondent Johannes Hano traveled through China's most remote border provinces. He and his team covered 20,000 kilometers on country roads, country lanes, sandy and scree slopes - and were in places that no foreigner has ever seen. For the two-part report, the ZDF team traveled along the outer borders of the huge empire and shows a China that is still completely unknown even to many Chinese.
