A woman is found hanged in the city cinema. A mathematical problem without a visible solution is projected on the screen. Police Commissioner Esther Zamani is commissioned to investigate the case. But since she has dyscalculia, she takes help from math genius Ronnie Johansson. Ronnie has just received an unexpected visit from Karla, his 18-year-old daughter, whom he has not met since she was a baby.
