September 2020, 17-year-old Maeva Livsky is accused of making Louis, her depressed boyfriend, to kill himself. On the basis of text messages and telephone conversations cited as evidence during the hearings, she is found guilty and sentenced to five years in a psychiatric center. But never, during her trial, will she reveal the reasons for her act. Two years later, seeing it as a unique commercial opportunity, a Belgian production company succeeded in convincing the courts to entrust Maeva with the case, to make it the subject of a television program. A final chance for Louis' family to find out the reasons for his suicide.
