The only thing in life that is certain is that we will all die. Yet many of us have an awkward, unresolved and unnatural relationship with it. Maybe that's why death is treated with devotion and bowed head, but on DR3 it's different. With enthusiasm, humor and without touch anxiety, the viewer is guided through various aspects of death and is thus well prepared for the inevitable. In the new program series 'Average Death', DR3 puts death on the agenda, gets it out of the mystified universe and helps the viewer out of the taboo relationship, which may be an obstacle in getting the fullness out of life. By focusing on all the completely pragmatic, cold facts around our final, DR3 is trying to bring death down to earth.
