Locomotion: The Amazing World of Trains

In 1825, worldwide transportation was transformed by a clumsy little locomotive in England that chugged along at 12 miles per hour. Within a few years, train tracks would crisscross the planet, making the human race mobile. Locomotion: The Amazing World of Trains hurtles down a track of discovery to trace the impact of all travel on society. It's an epic ride aboard the Iron Horse, with changeovers to the Twentieth Century Limited and Japan's bullet train. In route, archival footage of trains and spectacular scenery from around the world capture the romance and enterprise of the railroad.
