Karin Kukowski has to go to a health resort for several months. For the first time, she leaves her husband and children alone. While the apartment is being renovated, her offspring Louise and Marie spend most of their time on the Marianne II, the Zwicknagel grandparents' houseboat. A turbulent mix-up ensues regarding the two identical twins.
