In 2006, Danish politicians decided to send Danish soldiers into one of the most dangerous areas in the world: Helmand province in Afghanistan. In 2008, the Danish patrol base Armadillo is established, which until 2010 was the extreme spearhead in the fight against the enemy, and here the Danes come in some of the toughest fights in recent times. In a new documentary series with unique helmet camera footage, we get the story of the Armadillo base, which cost 10 Danish soldiers their lives.
