Philipp Schultze was a drug investigator for ten years in Hamburg's St. Georg district. There he often needed strong nerves in the service. But what the commissioner is experiencing as an "exchange cop" in the "Crystal Meth capital" of Kansas City surpasses his worst expectations. Nina Patermann is also challenged in West Covina, Los Angeles County, because her American counterparts do not carry the gun at hand anytime without reason. And Sajoscha Boss and Malte Hoffmann are dealing with gang wars and hostage-taking in Rio de Janeiro and Cape Town. There, the bulletproof vest will soon become the best friend of the detective. Wild chases, armed robberies and bloody shootings: In this series, German police gather experience in the most dangerous metropolises in the world as part of an internship abroad.
