The Mysteries of the Nile

Using modern detectors, archaeologists are searching for hidden remains of sunken sanctuaries from ancient Egyptian times, using aerial, underground, and underwater techniques. Thanks to new technology, they are rediscovering these ancient masterpieces. In the burial chambers of Tanis, for example, they discovered treasures as impressive as those once found in Tutankhamun's tomb. This allowed archaeologists to add several chapters to the history of the pharaohs.
