Abenteuer Airport

The pilot and head of the technical service Charly Kapitzky (Hansjörg Felmy) and airport boss Carsten Wolf (Ezard Haussmann) try to prevent small catastrophes from turning into big ones at Düsseldorf Airport: for example, when a pilot does not get his plane properly onto the runway with a failed engine or some villain trying to bypass customs to smuggle missiles into the Middle East. Wolf lives separately from his wife Vera (Claudia Wedekind), with whom he has their son Kai (Martin May), and becomes friends with the airport doctor Dr. Hanna Giese (Beatrice Kessler). Father Parella (Peter Matic) is the airport chaplain, Ronny Moosbacher (Friedrich Karl Pretorius) an air traffic controller.
