The boy Mikkel dreams of wallowing in giant Christmas presents, but due to an optimistic house purchase, the family is very excited about it, and there is the prospect of a saving Christmas with modest gifts. That changes when Mikkel saves Santa Goddreng, who as a thank you has to follow the old Santa faith and fulfill Mikkel's highest wish. And what does Mikkel want then? Yes, he wants to be able to buy everything in the whole world
