Memories Still Hurt

An orphaned girl is taken into the care of her father's close friend. Living with this wealthy family has been both a blessing and a curse for her. With her step mother making her every happy moment turn into a dreaded memory she lives her days pouring her heart out into her diary. One day she falls in love with a young navy officer only to find out that someone else intends to marry her: someone she cannot refuse. Now she is torn between her heart, her family and her duty.
