Stara Planina, Pirin, Rila and Rhodopes - Bulgaria's mountain world is only known to a few non-Bulgarians. The secluded area is home to Karakachan dogs and brown bears. In the lonely villages you can discover rare handicrafts and culinary traditions such as green cheese.
