It reports the daily life, the coexistence, the social and political relations and the myths related to the Paiter Suruí ethnicity, under Betty Mindlin's vision. Between 1979 and 1983, the anthropologist and economist traveled six times to Rondônia, to live with the indigenous people. Her involvement with Paiter Suruí and her field notes led her to write the book “Diários da Floresta”, launched in 2006, which inspired the script of the homonymous series.
