Perhaps the most famous swamp in the USA is the Everglades of southern Florida, but there are many more swamps across the continent, all unique and all different in their own way. The Atchafalaya is on the gulf coast of Louisiana, part of the Mississippi river delta. The Okefenokee is inland, on the Georgia/Florida border.
