A nurse named Alice soon becomes entangled in the experiment of Dr. Kane, a doctor who has lost his son Norman. Kane attempts to resurrect his son by "invoking his will to survive", but the experiment goes awry and Norman comes back as a monster that terrorizes the hospital. The hospital staff must band together and stop the monster before it takes the lives of the patients, who are oblivious to the situation.
