Mission: Live on The Moon

The survival in autarky of the next lunar colonies represents a crucial issue for researchers. A fascinating overview of current projects. Allowing astronauts to live in complete autarky on the Moon is the major task for scientists for years to come. They have to overcome many obstacles, such as protecting crews from radioactivity in the lunar atmosphere. While engineers are examining the possibility of using lunar soil as a building material, other teams are working on the development of spacesuits or the production of plants for self-sufficiency in food. All over the world, researchers are presenting their new projects. A captivating panorama of research projects that survival in a lunar environment is giving rise to all over the world.
