Café do Ambriz

Ambriz, the village through which the coffee produced in the Zala region flows, Ambriz experienced its period of greatest prosperity in the 1950s. Signs of economic progress are not only the inauguration of the automatic laundry or the air route, but also the beauty contest that even elects "Miss Ambriz". But Ambriz is also a land that gives the Lisbon government some headaches. The opposition to the Regime wins the elections, leading blacks to take up arms and start the struggle for Angola's independence.
