Germans are famous for the seriousness with which they indulge their hobbies - whether in marathons, pumpkin breeding or dog competitions. In "Meine Heile Welt", actor and comedian Michael Kessler plunges into one of these bizarre but real German leisure worlds as a fictional character. "Since I was a die-hard model railroader myself, I know the passion and seriousness with which we Germans can pursue our hobbies," says Kessler. "We create our own ideal world on land, on water or in the air, in hobby cellars and clubs - far away from everyday frustration. The hobbies themselves, the limitless love of detail and the great ambition to win trophies and certificates However, there is also great entertainment potential. The hobbyists and their passions are not presented in 'Meine Heile Welt', but rather satirical and humorous. "
