Mathieu Baron hosts the biggest renovation competition on Canal Vie. Judged by two experts—contractor Félix Ménard and designer Émilie Cerretti—six pairs from the general public are ready to do whatever it takes to renovate a cabin, with the ultimate goal of winning it. Each week, the apprentice renovators face elimination and try to win challenges to gain privileges. Chilly nights, mosquitoes, lack of privacy: the contestants must endure rustic living conditions throughout the adventure. In the end, only one duo will win the fully renovated and furnished cabin, along with a plot of land located in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, on the banks of the L'Assomption River. This prize is valued at $400,000.
