During the quarantine, Alexander Siddig (Dr. Bashir) used his official fan website SidCity.net to host a twice-weekly live Zoom chat to help maintain social interactions with fans. "Alone Together" is a four-part original script reading between Siddig and DS9 co-stars Andrew Robinson (Garak), Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko), Nana Visitor (Kira Nerys), and Armin Shimerman (Quark). The story was written by Canadian high school teacher (and actor) Matthew Campbell.
