On the evening of September 23, a group of tourists on the slope of Elbrus requested assistance from the Ministry of Emergency Situations due to the worsening weather. As a result of a large-scale operation, 14 people were saved, five died. The guides responsible for the ascent were put on trial. The creators of the project, based on the stories of the participants in these events, data from GPS trackers and real, previously unpublished photos and videos of that ill-fated day, completely reconstructed the history of the tragedy.
