A series co-produced by André Gladu and Michel Brault between 1974 and 1980, Le son des Français d'Amérique documents in 27 episodes the musical and sung heritage of French-speakers in America, following in the footsteps of the last French-speaking representatives of the continent from a tradition endangered oral.
