Joannahuset is Denmark's first child and youth crisis center for children under 18 years of age. Most of the people who receive help and shelter here have fled domestic violence or other failure. What they have in common is that they feel let down by the authorities. In Joannahuset, they get support in the fight for their own rights and a safe home.
