Jan Berg Jørgensen presents the everyday history of the Faroese from the last 100 years. We will visit the last active whaling station and go on a cruise with the whaling boat "Heykur" - in search of fin whales. And we continue the theme of how the Faroese have obtained food by taking the birdcatchers to work on the steep cliff sides, following the singing and knitting milkmaids up into the mountains, and seeing how the Faroese's last grain harvest took place.
