Parttwo,Devalued,examinestheever-shrinkingspacesofmigrantsinthecityandtheviolentdevaluationthatcomesasaresult.Thefinalthird,Militarised,explainshow,attheexactmomentwhenthestaterecedesfromitswelfarefunctions,thisdevaluationofAthenianlivesbecomesageneralisedcondition.
