Utilizingtheseso-called“scraps”,Currentsisafilmofextensiveremediation,treatedbyhandthroughtheuseoftheemulsionliftingtechnique,therebyre-imagining,re-constructing,andde-constructingtheliminalityofimmigrantlife.There-writingoftheselfinCurrentsisproducedthroughthearchivesofothers,viaassociativemontageandrepeatedperformativeactsonthesurfaceofthefilm.
