Formanyyears,threeRomanianvillageboys,Stelica,AurelandMitu,haveremainedtheclosestoffriends.Intheiryouths,theyplannedtopursuecareersasshepherds,butintimetheirindividualpathsdiverged-leadingMituintothemilitary,StelicaintothelocalpoliceforceandAurelintotheemployofMaricel,awealthyresidentofthecommunity.Themen'sworldschangeforeverwhenanewcomerarrivesinthehamlet-ayoungwomannamedLilica,accompaniedbyMaricel.She'stotingtwotrucksfullofDutchchickenswithher,whichinadvertentlyspreadsthebirdflutomuchofthelocalpopulace.Theboys,however,soonrealizehowtheycaningeniouslyturnthispotentialcrisisintoasolidprofit-makingventureforthemselves.
